Privacy Policy
Rec Time (rectimefit.com) is run by Tea Technologies, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy says what Rec Time collects, why, who it goes to, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your information, and Rec Time runs no advertising or tracking scripts.
What we collect
• Account: your email address and password (passwords are stored by our sign-in provider, Supabase, and we never see them), and the name you choose. • Your setup: goal, experience level, equipment, minutes you have, where you train, and your calorie, protein and step targets. • Workouts: which workouts you start and finish, when, how long they took, the energy level you pick and any notes you write. • Food: what you log, when, servings, and the calories, protein, carbs, fat, sugar and sodium for each entry. When you scan or search, the barcode or words you enter go to our server to look up the food. • Crew (only if you join): your crew name and role, the workouts you choose to share (title, minutes, sets, streak and caption), kudos, comments, crews you start, list or join, join requests and messages. • Payment: if you pay the $2 verification, Stripe handles your card. We receive whether the payment went through, not your card number. • Alerts: if you turn on phone alerts, the push address your browser gives us, or in the Rec Time app the device token Apple or Google gives the app. We do not collect your location. Workout shares never include where you were. The barcode scanner reads the code on your phone; camera images are not uploaded.
How we use it
To run your account, show your workouts, food log and progress, score foods, power crews and messages, send the alerts you turn on, check whether you are verified anywhere in Tea Technologies, keep the service safe (for example, screening messages for abuse), and answer you when you write to us.
Who sees what
• Your food log, targets and notes are private to you. • Shared workouts, kudos and comments are seen by the people in your crews. A crew's leaderboard and challenges show its members' shared minutes and workouts. In a fleet crew, the carrier's owners and admins see the leaderboard and challenges as crew totals without names, but they do see workouts you choose to share to that crew. No one else sees your food log, targets or notes. • Messages are seen by the people in that conversation or crew. Crews, crew messages and your crew name are part of Araynge (araynge.app), another Tea Technologies app, so the same crews and conversations appear there. • If you list a crew, its name, description, states and lanes are visible to anyone signed in to Rec Time or Araynge.
Tea Technologies sign-in
Rec Time uses the single Tea Technologies account, so you can sign in from teatechnologies.com and other Tea Technologies apps. We check that account's verification status to decide whether Rec Time is free for you.
Service providers
• Supabase: database and sign-in. • Cloudflare: hosting and delivery of the site. • Stripe: the $2 card payment. • Open Food Facts: some barcode lookups go to their public database. Food data also comes from USDA FoodData Central, which we copy in advance, so your lookups are not sent to USDA. • Google Fonts: the site's typefaces. Like any web request, these carry your IP address and browser details to the provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, under this policy.
On your device
Rec Time keeps your sign-in session and a few settings (for example, whether you dismissed the install banner and when you last read the crew feed) in your browser's local storage. Rec Time sets no advertising cookies.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your information while your account is open. Delete your account on the Me page (Delete my account). If you only use Rec Time, your account and its data are deleted right away. Your login is shared by every Tea Technologies app, so if another one still uses it, we erase your Rec Time data immediately and finish deleting the account within 30 days. You can also erase only your Rec Time data and keep the login, or email us to delete your account. Messages you sent to others may remain in their conversations. Payment records are kept as tax and accounting law requires.
Not medical records
Rec Time is a fitness and nutrition tracker, not a health care provider, and the information in it is not a medical record. See the Health Disclaimer.
Age
Rec Time is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
